The Oxfordshire Way long distance trail passes just 100 yards from the cottage it s the perfect place for taking a walk through some of the best countryside in the UK. On arrival at the Cottage you will find a comfortable lounge with an inviting open fire and relaxed surroundings that are perfect to help you unwind what better way to start your holiday. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with an electric oven and hob a microwave a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer so if you d like to do any cooking whilst on holiday there is ample facility to do so. There s also a shower room with WC and a washing machine located in the utility room on the ground floor of the property. The first floor hosts the two bedrooms; the first of which has a king-size bed and some helpful bedroom storage furniture. There is also a twin bedroom with a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom has a hand-held shower over bath and WC. Outside is an enclosed garden with furniture and a BBQ to enjoy al fresco dining on a warm summer s evening. There is parking for one car on the front drive way.

Though rurally located with an assurance of tranquillity you re never too far from amenities should you need them. The village of Kingham is well-serviced with an excellent local shop and post office two gastro pubs and a hotel with a restaurant. Local buses run to the train station and to Chipping Norton via the village of Churchill so if you don t want to take the car you don t have to as public transport is easily accessed. The train station is just outside the village for the London/Paddington line offering quick links back to the city if needed. In the heart of the Cotswolds this is a lovely location for total relaxation or for visiting the many attractions close by. Greeted by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner upon entering the period cottage offers a real home-from-home vibe with the beautiful beams contributing to the cosy vibe of the property. The lounge features two comfy sofas a TV/DVD and a wood burner for keeping warm in the winter months. The dining table is large enough to seat four whether you re enjoying a cooked breakfast together or an evening meal all made in the well-equipped kitchen consisting of a gas oven and hob microwave fridge small freezer and washing machine. There is also an iPod dock and CD player if you want to relax and listen to some music while you cook. The bathroom is located on the ground floor with a shower over bath and WC. Upstairs there are two bedrooms one with twin single beds and the other master bedroom with a king-size bed and vaulted ceiling offering a light and airy space for you to chill out in. There is a small seating area to the front of the cottage with access to the secret garden behind the log store and high walls. Although detached from the property it is just a few steps from the front door and is a quirky and charming addition to the home.
